BAF Secures Funding To Pursue F150/250 Certification

November 14, 2007

(Dallas, TX) –– BAF Technologies, the premier provider of natural gas and propane vehicle upfits, today announced that South Coast Air Quality Management District has agreed to fund BAF’s certification efforts for the Ford F150/250. As a result of this joint effort, BAF expects to receive certification by February, 2008.

BAF is currently putting the finishing touches on the Ford F150/250 package and will be submitting for both CARB and EPA approvals. The vehicles, which will be upfitted in the Dallas facility, are expected to meet or exceed SULEV requirements and achieve full certification by February. BAF is using its proprietary CalComp system which it has successfully used on the Ford Crown Victoria, E450 and E350 systems already available to the market.

“SCAQMD has always been a great partner for us,” says John Bacon, BAF’s president. “Their continued commitment to the industry and their involvement in this project demonstrates the importance of putting a wide variety of vehicles on the road to meet consumers’ needs.”

Those interested in purchasing these vehicles should contact BAF’s John Sledge (jsledge@baftechnologies.com) or Bill Calvert (bcalvert@baftechnologies.com) for information on working through their Ford dealer to ensure early delivery.
