Certified Inspector Training & Testing

Standardized training and testing is provided by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium, headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. Testing is available at the twenty colleges that are current members of NAFTC.

Training lasts two days and includes certification testing. The names of successful candidates are then forwarded to CSA International and will be added to the National Registry. Inspectors will then receive a CSA Certificate, Inspection Forms, and Pass/Fail Labels for use in inspection activities. The CNG Cylinder Inspector Program also provides annual reviews for inspectors to maintain their certification status.
