New York State Hydrogen Technology Demonstration Program Opportunity Notice (PON) No. 889

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), in collaboration with the New York Power Authority (NYPA), (the Parties), invites proposals in support of the advancement of the hydrogen economy in New York State. This solicitation seeks proposals supporting hydrogen technology demonstration projects. Proposals should be thorough in identifying the New York State resources available for support of the hydrogen economy and stress the benefits to New York State.

The primary objective of this solicitation is to help support hydrogen technology demonstration projects. Projects are encouraged to include participants from business, institutions, government and academia interested in:

1. Showcasing the scope and role of hydrogen as a viable energy resource in meeting New York State’s energy needs,

2. Capitalizing on the opportunities presented by moving to a hydrogen-based economy, and

3. Helping the Parties best apply its limited resources to the maximum benefit of the State in fostering hydrogen as an energy resource.
